Everything hurts and I’m dying. I love battle ropes and think they’re an awesome tool especially when used for dynamic stability as shown above. But holy crap these suck. The split lunge hold is hard to do on its own but when paired with a heavy rope pulling you every which way, and your upper body feeling like a five alarm fire, it’s a special feeling. My favorite ways to incorporate battle ropes 👇🏼 First lift of the day to get everything firing. End of a lift to work on stability under fatigue. Slams for power and force production. Waves (shown above) for dynamic control. An under valued skill developed with ropes is also coordinating and timing. You have to be in rhythm or else you’ll probably fall down 😅
