Bo is finally winning them over. 🦫🩵🪿🪿 She may be a third wheel at the pond, but the geese have been letting her hang out with them now. I wonder if she tells Archer and Quiver about them when she goes back to the beaver barn? Hopefully soon if everything goes right we will have the pond fenced in next month so that all three of them can safely swim and the babies can more effectively prepare for the wild! Bo did want Eric and I to come in and join her, but with so many babies here to feed I didn't have time to put my dry suit on and the water is still very very cold, especially with this colder weather we have been having after that taste of spring. A shocking and scary moment for a family in New Jersey. A rabid beaver was seen attacking people at Lake Henry in Mahwah. Police said an 8-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being bitten in the leg by the beaver who had “exited the lake and charged him.” Health officials said several people at the lake had contact with the beaver and tested positive for rabies.
