Asked Ben Griffin about his unique and interesting golf swing. Said he’s always trying to improve what he has (one of the big ones is trying to lengthen his backswing with his driver, because it tends to get short) instead of trying to chase something he’s not. “I wish my swing looked like Rory McIlroy’s or Adam Scott’s, but I swing my swing and I own it and I think every golfer out here on Tour, at least top players, all own their swings. Whether or not my swing might look different to some people or not, it feels good to me.”

Stop Hooking It – Ben Hogan Style 📚🏌️‍♂️ This drill comes straight from Ben Hogan’s classic book “Five Lessons” — written in the 1950s, but still gold today. If you tend to over-rotate the clubface and hook it left, try this: 1️⃣ Take your grip, but remove the index finger and thumb of your trail hand. 2️⃣ Instead of gripping, feel pressure from the palm of your trail hand pushing towards the target through impact. This reduces the twist on the club, keeps the face squarer, and helps you straighten out that hook.
