Observer’s bias is the tendency to not see what is there, but to see what you expect to be there. Whether it’s a scientific study or a YouTube controversy, we must account for this and take steps to avoid it. The first, and best way is to follow the facts logically, not allowing emotional manipulation. The other is broaden your empathy and try to understand a situation from all sides before concluding a hypothesis.
