The most asked question I have received when it comes to my 🫐 patch is “What’s your tip on getting so many blueberries?”. Let me start out by saying that to be successful on growing them, you need to know the basics. Blueberries like the soil ph to be on the acidic side and well-drained. They need to be in full ☀️ whether grown in a container or in ground. Choose a variety meant for your growing area. After meeting all those requirements, lets say your plant is doing terrific, and it’s full of berries 🥳 None of that matters if you can’t harvest any because an animal, especially a 🐦 gets to the berries before you do. And they will, unless you harvest before the berries are fully ripen, even then, it’s a battle. So, the best tip I can give is that you need to provide some form of protection for your plants.
