Step by step guide - READ BELOW 👇 Did you know that turmeric is UV reactive and can make beautiful botanical prints? Here's how you can do it too: ~ Take 1 tsp of turmeric powder ~ Add 5 tsp rubbing alcohol (or high % vodka) ~ Stir together well ~ Pour solution through a coffee filter ~ Paint solution onto watercolour paper ~ Add pieces to a hard board ~ Lay out your composition using dried + pressed botanics ~ cover with a piece of glass (or plexi glass) and clip in place to the board beneath. ~ Lay out under strong UV (sunny spot) for at least 2hrs Stay tuned for Part 2, where I'll reveal the turmeric prints and show you what to do next.
