So let me explain a few important things when booking your brow appointments, especially for lamination and Halal Brows: 1. I Do Not Laminate Trimmed Brows If your brows have been trimmed (especially if you’ve got thick hair but a thin brow shape), please don’t book a lamination. Why? Lamination works by stretching and lifting the brow hairs—we need length for that to look smooth and full. Trimmed brows will just look stubby, uneven, and patchy once laminated. Trust the process and leave the scissors alone. 2. Regular Facials? Let’s Talk Timing If you’re someone who gets regular facials, please be aware that certain treatments—especially exfoliating or chemical-based—can affect how your lamination sits and lasts. Always allow time between facials and brow appointments so your skin isn’t overworked or reactive. 3. Halal Brows Are NOT for Everyone Let’s clear up a big misconception: Halal Brows use BLEACH, not wax. If you’ve got thick, dark brow hair and expect them to become invisible—they won’t. Bleach can only lighten so much, and on dense hair, it can actually look worse. If you want to completely reshape or thin out your natural brow—Halal Brows aren’t the right choice for you. This treatment is about subtle enhancement while keeping the natural integrity of your brow—not creating a whole new shape. Trying to bleach thick brows into a completely new look will just look unnatural and, honestly, silly. I won’t do it, because it defeats the whole purpose. Quality > Quantity, Always.
