The Middle-Eastern vegetarian restaurant @bubala_london is opening in King’s Cross and we were lucky enough to try it out before it fully opened. At the north end of King’s Cross, it’s the biggest Bubala yet, in a hugely impressive-looking double-height room. Their signature dishes are here (the potato latkes are still fantastic) as well as some brand new dishes. If you’re already a fan, you’ll love this and if you’re yet to discover them, this is a good place to start. I’ve been following @bubala_london since 2020 and it’s surreal to be in their actual dining space. Truly an enlightening experience with everything being plant-based yet no flavor was compromised. 📍Bubala | Soho Being veggies we’ve been recommended Bubala (meaning ‘darling’ in Yiddish) for a while now and we finally got to go! 🌱 If you’re a foodie in London, then you’ve got to get over to @bubala_london . Serving plant-based deliciousness from two locations, including lots of dippy bits, we fell in love with every dish from the Bubala Knows Best menu, that’s only £40 per person for SO much food. I was salivating over the burnt butter hummus, confit garlic labneh, and the mushroom skewers were epic. We were running late to a show (and fully stuffed) so we even had leftovers to chow down on. Be sure to book in advance to get a seat because this place is popping. Love, love, love ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Stumbled into the most incredible veggie spot that just opened in King’s Cross 🌿 @bubala_london, and wow… I’m still thinking about it. We started with the silkiest hummus with burnt butter.. Alongside came a herby tabbouleh with butter lettuce, sumac & tomato. Then things got even better: the oyster mushroom skewer with tamari and coriander seed. The spanakopita borek was flaky, golden..✨ Next came the halloumi with poppyseed marmalade and rosemary. But the lemon pepper cauliflower stole the show — zhoug, amba onions, cooling yoghurt… every bite was a hit. For dessert the chocolate crémeux with cacao nibs, dates & olive oil was unreal (I’m genuinely still dreaming about it😮‍💨). And the malabi, with pink grapefruit and a whisper of coriander seed and sumac, was bright and floral — the perfect finish. If you’re veggie, vegan, or just someone who loves incredible food — get to Bubala.
