I’ll go first👇🏽 — I’d never get breast implants again. 🫣😬 That was a hard lesson that caused me years of health problems. Thankfully I got them removed, but wow that one was a brutal lesson. — What about you? — Oh and you know those bath and body works candles? Yea, yikes. I can’t believe how obsessed I use to be and had one lit almost daily. Can you say endocrine disrupter (amongst so much more 😬) — Thank goodness I ditched those and now anything with fragrance about sends me into a tailspin and immediate headache. 🧅Canning Diced Onions Recipe: - Dice onions into small pieces (mandolins make this process go by waaaaaaay faster!) RAW PACK METHOD: Fill jars to 1/2” headspace of onions and top with water. HOT PACK METHOD: Simmer onions on stove for 15-20 minutes to remove water and then pack into hot jars leaving 1/2” headspace. - Use a chopstick to remove air bubbles or you will end up with too much headspace. - Wipe jar rims with wet clean cloth and add your lids and rings until finger tip tight. - Place into your pressure canner on top of the rack, add water based on canner’s manual (mine is 3 quarts) and close the lid. - Turj heat to high and once you have a rolling steam set a timer for 10 minutes. - When the timer goes off, add your weight and bring to 10 PSI (see altitude guide in your manual to see if you need to add more PSI) - Process at 10 PSI for 35 minutes for pints (40 minutes for quarts) - After time is up, remove canner from heat and allow it to cool naturally. Do not remove the weight or try to ventilate the steam faster! - When canner is cool, remove jars and place onto a towel or cooling rack. - Label and enjoy! “Rebel” CanUary Carrots 🥕 Wash, Peel, Wash, Can Add 1 tsp salt/quart if you desire PC 30 min I didn’t peel them but just washed well and canned. Love these as a quick side and shelf stable to dump in soups and stews without using up fridge space.
