9 easy camera angles for better storytelling👇 📸 Camera angles are all about capturing different feelings and information in a way that moves the story forward in a suspenseful and logical way. Here’s my intention behind each angle used in this video: 1. GROUND LEVEL - Initiate movement towards door after knock 2. POV - Suspenseful approach 3. EXTREME CLOSE UP - Climax suspense/fear looking through peephole 4. PEEPHOLE - Comedic relief of tension 5. LOW ANGLE - Angled up from the door handle, leading into the next close up 6. CLOSE UP - Initiate fast sequence of door opening 7. TOP DOWN - Unconventional perspective that we don’t normally see with our eyes 8. GROUND UP - The reverse of the previous shot (different but feels cohesive) 9. MEDIUM WIDE - Captures context above waist while still focusing on the facial expression 🎧 Sound design also plays a huge role in shaping how these angles feel, but that’s a topic for another video :)

My Three Favourite Camera Angles👇🏽 Camera angles are one of the easiest ways to capture your audiences attention. So here are my 3 favourite for y’all :) 1. The Inside Shot - you put your camera inside an unconventional place (like a dishwasher) 2. The POV Shot - all you need is a magic arm and a clamp (sometimes) and you can create the perfect POV shots for products 3. The Top-Down Shot - I’ve been obsessed with these ever since I started flying drones, so using them in regular scenarios is absolutely clutch.
