This ceiling installation, designed by Athens-based @K_Studio_GR, for Romanos Costa Navarino Resort’s beach-side restaurant and captured by @emmahoareau , features fabric banners that ripple in harmony with the breeze. Above the tables, a calming canopy of hanging fabric sheets sways gently, allowing air circulation and maintaining a cool atmosphere. I built a hidden underground CEO office in the garden of a luxury villa. It started with a simple marked circle in the grass. Then the digging began — layer by layer, deeper and cleaner. The soil was removed, the structure reinforced. Wooden beams were installed to create the ceiling frame. A custom single wooden hatch was built and mounted. The entrance was sealed and perfectly hidden beneath the lawn. Inside the bunker: Gravel was poured and leveled for a solid base. Waterproof lining was installed across the floor and walls. Wooden frames were mounted precisely along the curved walls. Insulation was fitted tightly between each frame. OSB boards were drilled into place wall by wall. A full wooden floor was installed plank by plank. The walls were painted deep black for a luxury atmosphere. Then the transformation: A custom executive desk was positioned in the center. Leather chairs were placed symmetrically. Warm lighting was installed for a premium mood. Decor, books, lamp, rug, and details completed the space.
