How I made my Precious. So many ways to make a ceramic ring! I also tried extruding the coils and cutting them from slab. But sometimes I roll out coils and flatten them:) there are also different ways you can smoosh them to create texture. Fun! I leave one side unglazed, so you can see me polishing the rings with a dremel tool after firing.

bet you didn’t see that coming 👀 I did a little experiment… this was my first time experimenting with gloop glaze. I got this one from @wizardglaze via @bklynclay online shop. I didn’t use much since I just wanted a dot pattern around the base. there isn’t much of a 3d effect but the dots also didn’t run as much as I thought they would (considering I layered them over @amacobrent palladium). I like the subtlety of the dots. definitely could’ve used a bit more to get a more 3d effect, but I’m happy with how this turned out 🤷🏼‍♀️ good news: I fixed the pinholes 👏👏 just took a @dremel , some extra glaze, and a little bit of optimism 😊 I think next time I would make the form a little thinner in the trimming process, but this one is perfect for my @la_manso ring 💎 have you ever tried gloop glazes before or would you? let me know in the comments below 👇 #salden75 #studioalden #ceramicringholder #handmade
