Progress in the 25G

A couple things not addressed in this vid that I feel many will have comments on. The first is nutrient control, phosphate and nitrogen sources are removed by macroalgae such as chaetomorpha, granular ferric oxide reactor, protein skimmer, and water changes. Additionally, only live phytoplankton provides an energy source for certain filter feeders such as feather dusters. I use over the counter dead phyto more as a supplement and I find it sometimes entices coral to open. I typically use genus Nannochloropsis but thought I’d try Tetraselmis.
