Never forget that. 📍 Wilson Creek Chasm, Haast Pass <1hr from Wānaka 🥾 Trail: No official trail, but a short (slippery!) scramble down the bank and up a knee-deep stream gets you into the canyon. 🅿️ Access/Parking: Park just before the Wilson Creek bridge—there’s a gravel layby on the right heading west. 📏 Difficulty: Easy but adventurous—expect to get wet up to your knees depending on water levels. 🗑️ Leave no trace: Take everything back out with you and avoid climbing fragile canyon walls. The mighty Snoqualmie Falls pumping at record levels 💦😮 Last month this waterfall reached its highest flow rate in 10 years, nearly breaking its all time record water level. The historic Washington State floods produced insane conditions that were destructive, yet for some specific locations created an incredible scene leaving those in awe.
