BEEFS BUTTERMILK CHICKEN. I felt like cooking yesterday, then I felt like fried chicken. So we headed down to @sainsburys and picked up couple couple bits and pieces for some 👨🏿‍🍳 CHEFFFFFFING. If you fancy giving it a whirl, all the ingredients are below. Make sure you’ve got a nice deep pan, Dutch pot as you’ll need a good 10cm of oil BUBBLING at 170-175C. I found that flinging in a little piece of chicken helped the get the temperature up before putting in the first big pieces. Once you’ve dropped them in the oil leave them to chill for 2-3 mins then turn them over, leave for 2-3 mins then take them out and leave them to sit. * * 8-10 skinless boneless chicken thighs * * sunflower oil, for deep-frying * For the mix up mix up. * * 2 tbsp paprika * * 2 tsp garlic granules * * 1 tsp chilli powder * * 1 tsp black pepper * * ½ tsp dried oregano * * 1 chicken stock cube * For the buttermilk. * * 500ml whole milk * * 2 tbsp cider or white wine vinegar * * 1 egg * Outside the chicken. * * 100g self-raising flour * * 100g cornflour * * ¼ tsp turmeric NOW DID SOMEONE SAY DAY 23? Second on the ARTU menu is a @leblanq.tour trip this June alongside the legendary @nieves_barragan1 who I believe has an actual Michelin star. I tasted her food in Ibiza and I can confirm it’s a real delight. I will be there shepherding you through some of northern girona’s finest asphalt and keeping you entertained by the pool. 🏊‍♀️ . This place is truly unique and gets the stamp of approval from legendary two wheel pedaleurs like @tompidcock and @lachlanmorton . I’ve only heard that they stayed there, however their aura is clearly felt lingering on the property. . Chaotic recipe: Find something to cook pasta in, boil water on high heat. Find pasta, the whole bag will do for 3 hungry hippos. Find tomato sauce, just tomatoes, put it in a pan on medium heat. Find two garlic cloves, crush them and wish you would’ve sautéed them in olive oil before adding the tomatoes sauce. It’s too late now. pistachio pesto 🌱 Okay. Go nuts. Toss all this into a food processor/blender and never eat store bought pesto again! • 1c dry roasted pistachios • 1/2c olive oil • 1c fresh basil leaves • 1/2 fresh lemon juice(opt out if you don’t have a fresh lemon on hand) • 1/2c grated parm • 1tsp salt • 2tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic clove • cracked pepper to taste I put this pesto on EVERYTHING.
