Currently known as the KP31 until it gets a cool name like the Chery Ironhide - not the actual name, but it feels perfect and if Chery wants to use it I’ll swap them a car for the name 😜😂 But let’s talk specs of this world first 4x4 diesel PHEV ute. Engine: 2.5L Turbo Diesel Plug-in Hybrid Electric Payload: 1,000kg Towing: 3,500kg braked towing 47% thermal efficiency from the new diesel engine, which should mean better fuel consumption. Not much else is known, but compared to its existing competitors both petrol PHEVs and traditional diesels, this is set to ruffle some feathers.
