Zarella is a popular pizzeria in River North Chicago known for the best tavern style pizzas, vodka pasta, and Italian dishes from the Boka Restaurant Group. 😋 What I ordered: • Mushroom & truffle tavern style pizza + pepperoni • Mozzarella sticks • Radiatore alla vodka 💭 Thoughts: I came here to check out what people say is one of the best pizzerias in Chicago. The vibes were great during the day. Lively but still aesthetic, and I loved sitting by the window. 9/10. Service was also really good. Our server was friendly and checked on us the perfect amount. 9/10. The mozzarella sticks were the best I’ve ever had. Super crispy and cheesy. 9/10. The vodka pasta had perfect al dente texture and the sauce actually tasted flavorful and homemade, not just basic pasta sauce. 8.5/10. The tavern style pizza was amazing too. Super crispy and flavorful. 9/10. We added pepperoni which tasted good, but I feel like it might’ve been better on its own instead of mixing flavors. The honey hot sauce was amazing, definitely more honey than heat. I love Korean food, especially at local family-owned restaurants! If you go to @kogiikogiiexpress, that’s exactly what you get. I was invited to dine there and had multiple dishes that I liked, especially the bibimbap, Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dog, and spicy pork Kogii bowl! What Korean dish do you like? __________ Fun fact: Chilli was not known to Koreans until the 16th century.

This bakery-restaurant might just serve one of the best breakfast sandwiches in America. If you’re heading to Chicago, @KasamaChicago needs to be at the top of your list. This Ukrainian Village spot owned and run by exceptional chefs @geniekwon & @timothyryanchi is the first Filipino restaurant in the world to earn a Michelin star, and it lives up to every bit of the hype. Go early, get in line…and be patient. It’s worth it, I promise. The longanisa sausage breakfast sandwich is sweet, rich…and completely unforgettable. The hashbrown served with is crispy perfection. I took both with me as a snack on my @delta flight. And the meatloaf with peanut sauce and shrimp paste? Deeeeeply comforting and layered with unforgettable flavors. Don’t skip the sambal and that chili vinegar. They bring everything to life. You’ll gawk at everything in the pastry case. So hard to choose. I can vouch for the flaky AF apple hand pie.
