$5 Lamb Chops?! 🤯 Share with someone you’d try this with! I tried @trufflechicago for the first time and I’ll definitely be back. I love supporting black owned restaurants, especially in my hometown Chicago. Here’s everything I ordered: 🍗 Honey Hot & Garlic Parmesan Wings 🍟 Truffle Fries 🔥 Buffalo Egg Rolls 🐑 Lamb Chops (with garlic mash & asparagus) 🐟 Stuffed Salmon (with Mac & Cheese and Greens) Now you know I pride myself in 100% honest reviews so here’s the real… Overall experience: 7.7/10 Food: 8/10 (I loved th main dishes & appetizers but sides could be better with the exception of asparagus) Service: 6/10 (they were sweet but some things were a little slow getting from the waitress but the food came quick) Ambiance: 9/10 (very cute inside but a little cramped) ⚠️ Note: Do not go here if you have a shellfish sensitivity. Like most restaurants, they fry all their food in the same fryer so cross contamination can easily happen. My friend has a sensitivity to the smell and had to leave early because the smell from the kitchen was causing her allergy to flare up. I didn’t notice the smell at all, so I want to be clear that the place didn’t smell bad. It actually smelled delicious. I’m a big foodie, so I’m glad this was my first stop back home. I really want to get back for their wings so I can try different flavors and their seafood.
