Everybody’s talking about Claude Code but I’m surprised at how little people are using Claude Skills – which is honestly the feature that makes the whole thing worth using. Instead of re-explaining how you work every time you open a new session, you write it down once in a simple markdown file and Claude automatically understands your preferred structure, format, standard etc for the output. This video breaks down what Skills are, how to create your first one in a few minutes, and how to start building a system that actually works the way your brain works. Save this for later. Quick note: Skills also exist on regular Claude, but those are pre-built — things like creating docs and spreadsheets. Claude Code is where you build your own custom Skills tailored to how you actually work. So regular Claude gives you Skills that are essentially like system prompts at the project level. Claude Code is where you can really get their full value. Second note: I recommend having between five and 10 clearly defined skills that don’t overlap in their purpose. The more skills you have (especially overlapping ones) — the less reliable they become.

6 ways I use Claude to make 5 figures/month 👇 1. I talk my ideas out loud through WisprFlow, then let Claude shape them into scripts, captions, and posts. The ideas are always mine. Claude just makes them polished. That’s my Human-AI-Human framework - I start it, AI polishes it, I finish it. 2. I built my entire brand strategy inside Claude - positioning, messaging, audience segments, content pillars, all of it. 3. I repurpose one idea into content for 9 platforms. One voice note becomes a reel script, a carousel, a LinkedIn post, a newsletter section, a Substack Note etc. Then I use n8n to automate posting. 4. I use Cowork & Skills to automate the repetitive stuff. Formatting, repurposing, research, first drafts of things that follow a template - the tasks that don’t need my brain but still need to get done. 5. I write all my brand partnership pitches, UGC scripts, and sales copy through it. But I always have the final edit. Every single thing Claude produces gets my voice, my phrasing + my gut check before it goes anywhere. 6. I use it as a strategic thinking partner. Not to tell me what to do - to pressure-test what I’m already thinking so I can spot the gaps, make sharper decisions faster and stotp overthinking.
