@volcancoffeecol coffee definitely falls into coffees you actually remember. As soon as we opened the bag, we were hit with sweet strawberry notes. It’s a lighter roast with a natural process. Sourced directly from Cajamarca, Colombia, this coffee grew in rich volcanic soil at high altitudes, giving it exceptional flavour and complexity (Please note, this is a limited edition coffee - beans, profiles and processing method may have changed since we got our bag.) Grown high in the volcanic slopes of Cajamarca, between 1,800 and 2,000 meters above sea level, @edwardmontielcoffeefarmer microlot reflects the care and curiosity of the Montiel family at @granjakaffeto . We brewed this coffee on the @lamarzoccohomeuk Micra and we’re still in the dialing-in stage. Shots were pouring a bit fast, so there’s some grinder tweaking left to do. Txs @decentespressomachines for creating this beauty, a good thermometer makes life so much easier. It defo helps us hit the same steaming temperature every time 🙌 Shoutout to Erik, who supplies not just roasted beans but green beans too.
