I can’t begin to say how much I love doing this with her. It came so natural because she already in a way did it on her own but then I worked it more and wanted to have a command for it. Dogs provide all of us different things. The reason we might need specific things from our dog doesn’t need to be shared with the world. This might simply look like “oh the dog is just laying on you big deal”, but it’s more than that. DPT work with Pearl has been a huge benefit to me. Personally this is one of my favorite things with her. Everything gets calm and quiet and you stay in a moment of comfort and safety. TRANSPARENCY POST: Now while I’m not a fan of recording myself crying on the internet. I came across this and it was a raw moment for me. For context purposes, I wasn’t crying the whole video, I actually was just recording my feelings at a specific point on my random solo 30th birthday trip to TX. I was suffering one of the many panic/anxiety attacks I had been dealing with for several months. • • • When the tears started to flow I debated on shutting the camera off but I guess my spirit knew I’d need to look back & see this. • • I felt I was losing everything all at once. 30 came and I had NOTHING to show for it. I hated me, I wanted so badly to just fix everything in my life on my own and I couldn’t. The only thing God wanted was for me to acknowledge was Him. I distinctly remember saying God I can’t do this by myself. Then 5 months later I found myself on a drive to a completely new life. • • When you chose God first & just release control, He always pulls through. Right now I’m standing in answered prayers & it hits different when you’ve watched yourself crying because you thought you had nothing. When the reality is you always had Jesus but you just never realize it. • • 2 years ago I decided to walk away from my life because He said it was time. His timing was better than the “when I turn 18 I’m moving…” plan that I had. He knew what I had to endure before I would fully surrender. God knows His children. He knew it all before we were even formed. For that I thank Him daily. • • Stop trying to have all the answers. Stop thinking you need to have it all together. God will set the course straight for you if you let it go & give it to Him. You don’t get clean before you wash?
