Every art page of a comic book starts with a layout! The layout is the concept of the visual idea for the story in this particular moment. As the artist, it’s your job to tell a visual story clearly, so starting with thumbnail sketches and coming up with ideas is first! Once you have your idea, then it’s time to solidify it!
