The #ASPD has launched a new communication tool: #CommunityConnect. This automated customer service platform sends text messages and emails directly to 9-1-1 callers, providing timely updates and an opportunity to share feedback. The platform includes three key features: 🚔 Patrol – Provides immediate communication after a 9-1-1 call for service, including an acknowledgment message, responding officer information, helpful resources and delay notifications. 🔎 Investigations – Keeps victims informed with ongoing updates after a report is submitted, offering support throughout the investigative and judicial process. 💡 Insights – Collects feedback through automated, mobile-friendly surveys after interactions with department personnel, including dispatchers, officers and detectives.
