Turks must-do: Da Conch Shack 🐚 Just wow. We arrived our first night with 7:00 reservations so we could catch the live music and fire show, (both only happen on Wednesday nights), and they did not disappoint! The night ended with fresh conch and dancing under the stars. We loved it so much we came back a few days later for lunch, where we met a local fisherman who catches around 500 conch in just two hours. He taught us how to tell which ones are mature and ready to harvest, and even showed us how to do it humanely. Blue Hills Beach is covered in conch shells…. it looked like something out of a movie. Everyone picked out their favorite shell and watched as the conch was pulled out and prepared for the local restaurants. From the kids to the grandparents, @daconchshack was a 100/10. There’s just something about eating delicious food with your feet in the warm sand, live music playing, and horses walking through the ocean that makes it unforgettable. Travel tip: Per local law, you can only transport up to 3 conch shells per person during open season (July 16–October 14).
