If you really want to know...⬇️ . I'm asked often "why don't you keep all the conch shells"?? Here's why ⬇️ . These are Florida Fighting Conchs and they are EVERYWHERE on the beaches in Florida. I come across them very often! 🐚 . This hyperlapse clip should show you a bit more of just how common they are. I find them on just about every beach I visit!🙌🏼 . When I first started shelling in Florida, I did keep these, but once I accumulated quite the collection, I kept a few freaks and uniquely colored ones and took the rest back to the beach. 💙 . Once you've been collecting for a while, you'll come to the realization of "what am I supposed to do with all of these?" and if you appreciate the ethics of shelling and want to protect the environment, giving shells back to the Ocean is a beautiful gift 🙏🏼 .
