Honestly, nothing has tested my īmān and tawakkul like being an entrepreneur. For a long time, I thought my greatest tests were already behind me—especially when it came to rizq. There’s a word scholars use to describe this… Taswīf. Ibn al-Qayyim wrote about it as one of Shayṭān’s favorite tricks, not stopping you from good, just convincing you to delay it. It’s when you don’t say no. You just keep saying “later in sha Allah” Until…. There’s no later. And I know this pattern very well, because I was stuck in it. Even with a master’s degree in business. I told myself all the reasonable things: that my kids were still small, that my situation was complicated, that I’d never really used social media, that I didn’t even know who would buy from me. So instead of moving, I waited. And what’s uncomfortable to admit now is… I stayed in a very difficult situation for years not because I lacked ability, but because I kept delaying stepping into what I could become. I chose familiar discomfort over unfamiliar growth. And now, on the other side of that, I see the same thing in so many sisters. I can see the skills. I can see the intelligence. I can see the drive.
