We were able to get hands on experience in using Cat Command for Construction at Caterpillar’s Malaga Demonstration and Learning Center recently. Cat Command allows remote operation of machinery either through a line of sight system utilising the console, as seen in the video or using the station, which gives an in cab like experience and facilitates remote operation of equipment from any location . The line of sight system is intended to keep operators out of harms way in various hazardous situations where their safety or lives may be at risk. A flick of a switch will return the excavator or dozer to normal operation . You can see me trying out the console with a Cat 320. I was quite sceptical about the controllability initally compared to normal in cab operations. The video was taken 2 or 3 minutes after I’d started to operate the machine remotely and although not perfect I felt quite confident and in control using the system. INSANE CHEAT CODE!🤯 @swh_vermietung built a street-legal Porsche GT3 Cup car. It started its life as "just" a 992 GT3, but then received all the aero, suspension and brakes from the GT3 Cup. While still maintaining the stock interior with satnav, aircon and... the frunk! People that watch my vids regularly know that I do around 190 km/h through SX to be on the safe side. It felt like I was standing still on the first lap. Second lap: 213 km/h V-min and it still felt slow. We didn't go for third one because the car was running GP setup (it was there for GP-track track day), it was "just" on Cup 2's (not the R's) and there was way too much traffic. The GP setup (and my overconfidence) became apparent in Pflanzgarten 2 later and it bottomed out on landing. Sketchy moment, but a good catch showing the controllability of the car. Can't wait to repeat with Cup2 Rs on a track day with proper setup😍 #nurburgring #porsche #gt3 #gt3cup #downforce #bigwing
