How to perfectly cook quinoa Ingredients 1 cup Quinoa 2 cups of water (It’s always 1:2 ratio) Method : 1. Wash and rinse the quinoa well. Keep it aside. 2. In a pan, add 2 cups of water and rinsed quinoa. Let it boil once. 3. Cover the pan, simmer the flame and let it sit for 12-15 min. You can check after 12 min, if there is water let it get absorbed properly. 4. Turn off the flame and let the pan stay covered for another 2-3 min. Uncover the pan and fluff with fork. This is the perfect recipe to cook quinoa. Both are pantry staples, but here’s the difference: quinoa packs more protein, contains all the essential amino acids, and breaks down slower for longer-lasting energy. 🍚Here’s how I make it perfectly every time: •First, you’re going to begin by measuring out your quinoa remember, it’s 1 to 2 ratio. And my case I used 2 cups of quinoa and 4 cups of water . •Next I thoroughly rinsed my quinoa, about 2-3x times. This process removes the bitter taste. •After your quinoa has been rinsed, you’re going to add in your water with seasonings of your choice OR vegetable broth with the correct ratio and then bring your water to a boil. •Once your water is at a boil, you’re going to cover it and bring it down to a low heat and allow it to cook for 15 minutes. This part of it is extremely important.. don’t remove the lid for another 10-15 minutes, this will allow the quinoa to fluff. As you can see in this reel, there is still some steam in my quinoa so I could’ve let it sit a little longer, 10 minutes minimum.
