No human engineer designed this. An AI called NEURON did. It ran millions of physics simulations and produced something no human team had ever built: A 3D-printed copper rocket engine that burns at 3,000°C on the inside... ...while the outside gets cold enough to form frost. Not a concept. Not a render. A real engine. Already tested. AI isn't just writing emails anymore. It's redesigning how we reach space. 🚀 Save this for when someone tells you AI can't do anything real. Follow @a.quick.sip for more . #FutureTech #RocketScience #Engineering #Technology #3DPrinting

Meet NΞURON, an algorithm that uses physics and engineering rules (not training data) to design fully functional rocket engines from scratch. This aerospike engine was 3D-printed in ONE piece from copper Uses BOTH super-cold liquid oxygen (-183°C) AND kerosene for cooling Burns at 3,000°C - hot enough to melt steel So cold on the outside it creates frost while running Green flames = copper burning (oops, but that's how you learn!) Every test makes the next design better Created by Leap71 - a software engineer and aerospace engineer who fell in love and built an algorithm that's revolutionizing rocket design. The future of engineering is here! Credit: @integza

NΞURON generated a manufacturable rocket engine design using engineering constraints alone. The aerospike was 3D-printed as a single copper piece, cooled with liquid oxygen and kerosene, and successfully hot-fire tested. Developed by Leap71, this is a new way of building engines. AI autonomously designed LEAP 71’s NEURON aerospike rocket engine, 3D-printed it as a single copper piece, and it fired successfully on the first test. After training, the system can generate new engine designs in about 15 minutes using pure physics and simulation, not trial-and-error. The engine burns at around 3,000 °C internally while liquid oxygen at −183 °C cools the walls, creating visible frost during operation. Those green flames come from trace copper burning, which the AI uses as feedback to improve future designs. Built by a small team led by Joel Gomes at LEAP 71, this is AI acting as the engineer, not just assisting one. ➕ Comment ‘BONUS’ and I’ll send you a free Beginners Guide + 350 Prompt Bible to Master AI 🦾 #rocketscience #aiengineering #aidesign #spacetech #advancedmanufacturing

You know when you think a project will be way easier than it really is? And then it takes 3 launch attempts but you FINALLY DID IT??? Yeah same. NEW VIDEO OUT NOW!!! I made a 100% 3D printed SUPERSONIC CARBON FIBER ROCKET 🚀 Link in bio and stories and all the usual places ❤️

Meet NΞURON, a physics driven algorithm by Leap71 that designs fully functional rocket engines from scratch using engineering laws instead of training data, redefining how machines are imagined and built 🚀😮 It created a copper aerospike rocket engine printed in one piece, cooled by super cold liquid oxygen and kerosene, burning near 3,000°C inside while forming frost outside, with green flames appearing as copper eroded during early tests that fed continuous improvements. Each test loop sharpens the next design, proving engineering can now be calculated, not guessed, opening faster paths to advanced propulsion, manufacturing freedom, and a future where machines design machines at unprecedented speed. Would you trust algorithms to design humanity’s next engines? AI 3D-printed a copper rocket engine hotter than lava—and it actually worked. Engineers used advanced additive manufacturing to create a high-performance copper combustion chamber capable of withstanding extreme temperatures well above 1,000°C (hotter than flowing lava). The complex internal cooling channels—impossible to machine traditionally—were printed in a single piece, allowing better heat dissipation and higher thrust without melting. During hot-fire tests, the engine ran flawlessly under full cryogenic conditions, proving 3D printing can build rocket parts stronger, lighter, and faster than old-school methods. The future of space propulsion is being printed layer by layer. Follow @teachyoureels for more posts like this Source: NASA & Relativity Space reports #3dprinting #rocket #copper #innovation #space

AI-designed rocket engine… and it actually works. This is a hot-fire test of the LEAP 71 thruster at Airborne Engineering (UK), generated by an AI model called Noyron in weeks and 3D-printed in copper alloy. The chamber hits ~3,000°C, and the AI designed microscopic 0.8mm cooling channels so cryogenic propellant keeps the outside frosty while producing ~5,000N of thrust.
