crow pose step by step guide: 1. your hands should be a shoulder-width apart, fingers spread wide 2. tuck your elbows slightly back, knees should rest on upper arms/triceps. you need to create the “shelf” 3. lean forward. shift weight into your fingertips so your toes can lift. engage the core and inner thighs 4. try to draw heels toward glutes, keep gaze slightly forward and find your balance it might take a few attempts before you feel comfortable in this position but you absolutely got it!! let me know if you have any questions :)

Decided to make a 3 part series on finally getting your crow pose! Today we focus on not just getting your knees up but keeping them up. There are 2 things happening that we need to work on 1️⃣ range of motion, getting your knee to your upper arm 2️⃣ strength to hold your knee against your upper arm If you feel this in your abs and not just in your hips then that’s just fine, the rounding shape happens from both the hips flexing and the spine rounding for max compression.

Perspective Sometimes it’s not the situation that needs to change…it’s the way we look at it. The same moment can feel heavy or light, hard or meaningful, depending on the angle we choose. When we breathe, when we step back, when we shift even a little, everything looks different. Perspective is knowing that life doesn’t always speak in problems, sometimes it speaks in messages. A challenge can be guidance. A delay can be protection. An ending can be an opening. Nothing changes — and yet everything does. Because you see it differently.
