For a while now, I’ve been using Cursor (AI coding IDE) to do all my personal projects, pretty much exclusively. Well, they just released version 2.0 and I’m trying out the features right now. It’s a big change, and to me there is some pretty nice stuff up in here. 1) I don’t know how many “tokens” this uses or if it gets you to your limit, but now you can select multiple models. I tried it out and it puts all the models at the top and runs them concurrently. So you can literally have them compete and then just pick the best result. 2) Now you can open a browser tab inside Cursor too. Highlight stuff (HTML elements), and it sends it right to the chat context. No more copy and paste from browsers, just stay right in Cursor. Super dope. 3) They got this Agent View vs Editor View now. Editor View = original view that prioritizes the code files, with the AI chat to the right. Agent View = new view that has the AI chat front and center like ChatGPT, and code off to the side. So yeah… I think Cursor dropped some fire with this update.
