👓 With the help of @raybanmeta smart glasses, @denem (Emily Starobrat) shows us how she transforms ordinary denim jeans into unique fashion statements. Using experimental textile techniques such as chalk and a rotary tool, Emily treats denim as her canvas, adding and subtracting color to tell stories of their wearers’ journeys. “I love denim because it’s one of those materials that visually catalogs where you’ve been on the surface. Scuffs and knee rips on your jeans can remind you of a certain time, and having a garment that serves as a collection of where you’ve been over the years is pretty cool in my opinion.” The hands-free filming feature of the smart glasses allowed Emily to capture her work in a new perspective. “I love how the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses let me focus on my craft without any distractions. It’s like having a personal camera crew following me around!
