Deviled Eggs! ✨ COMMENT RECIPE 👇 Ingredients: • 18 large eggs • ⅔ cup mayonnaise • 1 tbsp yellow mustard • 1 tbsp pepperoncini juice or jalapeño juice or vinegar (pick one) • A couple dashes of your favorite hot sauce • 1 tsp Britscookin Cajun Seasoning • 1 tsp Britscookin Garlic & Herb Seasoning • Smoked paprika, for garnish • Extra Britscookin Garlic & Herb, for garnish ⸻ Instructions: 1. Place 18 eggs in a large pot and cover with cool water. 2. Bring to a boil and let them roll for about 10–12 minutes. 3. Once cooked, immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool completely. 4. Peel the eggs, then slice each one in half lengthwise. 5. Carefully remove all the yolks and place them in a medium mixing bowl. 6. Mash the yolks with a fork until they reach a powdery consistency. 7. Add the mayo, mustard, pepperoncini (or jalapeño/vinegar), hot sauce, Britscookin Cajun Seasoning, and Britscookin Garlic & Herb. 8. Mix well until smooth. For an extra creamy texture, use an immersion blender to blend the filling. 9. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into each egg white half using a piping bag or Ziploc bag with the corner cut off. 10. Boil the eggs for 8–10 minutes, then transfer to a bowl of cold water. 2. Peel the eggs and place them in a bowl or container. 3. Peel the beet, cut it into small cubes, and place in a pot. Add water, salt, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then let cool. 4. Remove the beet cubes from the water and pour the beet-colored water over the eggs (add a bit more water if it doesn’t cover the eggs completely). 5. Let the eggs soak in the beet water in the fridge for three hours or overnight (no longer than that). 6. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then gently place the eggs into the boiling water. Reduce the heat to low medium and cook for 12 minutes. Next transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice cold water and rest for 20 minutes. 2. When the eggs have finished resting, peel them, and rinse them well to make sure there are no shells remaining on the eggs. Slice in half lengthwise, and place all of the yolks into a bowl. Set the whites aside. 3. Mash the yolks then add the miracle whip, mayo, salt, and mustard. Whip or blend until the yolks are smooth and creamy. 4. Arrange the egg whites on a plate or platter. You can use a piping tip or a Ziploc bag to fill the egg whites, you can also just use a spatula or a spoon as well. There’s really no wrong way to do it. To finish them off sprinkle with paprika. What’s a party or holiday get together without deviled eggs?! 😈🥚 My fool proof method of peeling eggs will make it super simple. You won’t end up with eggs that look like gold balls with a bunch of divots! For fully cooked eggs, I add them to boiling water that has baking soda added. 1 tsp per 6 eggs that you’re boiling. Boil for 12 minutes. If you’re at a higher elevation, it will take longer so check the google ⛰️ Then I put them in an ice bath for 5 minutes and use a small spoon to remove the shells. Ingredients 8 hard-boiled eggs, halved and yolks separated For filling: 1/4 cup mayo 1 tbs Dijon mustard 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp annatto powder (or paprika) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 cup flour 2 eggs for breading 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp annatto powder (or paprika) 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil Chives and finely chopped pickles for garnish 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil with enough water to cover the eggs by about an inch. Gently place the eggs in the water. Set a timer and cook the eggs 10 minutes. Once the eggs have finished cooking, immediately place them in an ice water bath for 10-15 minutes. Peel, slice in half and set aside the yolks in a bowl for later. 2. Combine ingredients for the filling (egg yolks1/4 cup mayo, Dijon mustard, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder ) in a bowl. Mix well, add to a piping bag and let cool in refrigerator till fried egg whites are ready. 3. Set up a dredging station, 1 bowl of seasoned flour (pepper, salt, annatto powder, and garlic powder),1 bowl of 2 eggs beaten, and 1 bowl of panko breadcrumbs. Dredge egg halves in flour, egg, and panko. Fry in oil over medium heat 1-2 minutes until egg whites are golden brown. Set aside on paper towels. 4. Once egg whites are fried, pipe yolk mixture into egg white. Garnish with chives, pickles, and paprika. Eat and enjoy!
