🌿 5-Minute Dump & Bake Chicken Pesto A ridiculously easy one-pan dinner that tastes fancy but takes almost no effort. If you’ve got 5 minutes, a jar of pesto, and some chicken, dinner is basically done. This dump-and-bake pesto chicken turns juicy, cheesy, and flavorful with almost zero prep — just season, spread, and bake. 🍗 Ingredients • 4 chicken breasts • Salt & pepper • Garlic powder • Oregano • 1 jar pesto • 6–8 slices mozzarella cheese Optional toppings (highly recommended): • Fresh tomato slices • Fresh basil • Balsamic glaze 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1️⃣ Prep (takes about 5 minutes) Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish or sheet pan. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. 2️⃣ Dump the pesto Spread a spoonful of pesto over each chicken breast, then dump the rest of the jar around the chicken so everything bakes in that garlicky goodness. 3️⃣ Bake Bake at 400°F for about 30 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken. Chicken is ready when it reaches 165°F internal temperature. 4️⃣ Add the cheese Top each chicken breast with sliced mozzarella. 5️⃣ Melt & finish Return to the oven and bake or broil for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. ✨ Optional Finishing Touch Top with fresh tomato slices, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a caprese-style upgrade.

And when I say whipped together, I mean I just used premade sauce from @iavaronebros. Not even going to lie. Then I chopped up some fresh parsley and topped with some cheese. Yes, we ate them at 9:30AM. No, I’m not ashamed about it. 🙂 This is a fun recipe to keep in mind for when guests come over. It’s different! EASY DINNER IDEA You’re going to boil some potatoes, I only needed 3 large ones for a 22 cm tart tin. Once they’re soft enough to mash, transfer them into the tin (which should already have a little oil on the base) and press them down there to form the crust. Season on top with salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil. Bake for about 15 minutes until lightly golden, then fill with whatever you like most. I used mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, grated cheese, and a mixture of eggs, cream cheese and spinach, and of course more cheese on top for that lovely gratin finish.
