When you attach your identity to one person, one job, or one place, you give it the power to break you the moment it’s gone. Life changes fast, and anything external can shift without warning. That’s why you need something deeper to root yourself in. A mission. A purpose. A sense of direction that doesn’t vanish when someone walks away or when an opportunity slips through your fingers. People will leave, careers will change, and life will move in ways you didn’t expect. But your higher purpose stays. It grows with you, steadies you, and gives you something to return to when everything else feels uncertain. That is how you protect your peace. That is how you keep your power.

God created each of us with a purpose, but it was never meant to be about us. It’s not to satisfy our own desires or build our own name… it’s to bring Him glory.
