I’m SO obsessed with how my DIY Jenni Kayne bed frame and headboard dupe turned out!! This project cost me $140 and others that look like it begin at $1000 🤯 I will link what I used in my stories and then share below the steps: 1. Any standard length bed frame in the color white will work! Then take off your mattress and add the hearth and hand sour cream linen bed skirt 2. Go to home depot and grab a cheap 4x8 plywood board and have them cut it to 36x82 for a king size bed) 🤓 3. Go to Joann fabrics or order online 2.5 yards of thick upholstery padding (I will link this too) 4. Wrap and staple the padding to your plywood (staples on back side) 5. Wrap your padding tightly with a a flat hearth and home linen sheet double folded and spray with wrinkle releaser 6. Duct tape fabric tightly to back so you can remove if needed to wash and wrap again! 7. Make up your bed, step back, and enjoy! If you try this please tag me!

I’m back with my next project in Operation Bedroom Retreat where instead of buying a bed frame like a normal person, I’m challenging myself to make one🤪. Now for this type of project, it’s important to use to quality fabric. I got this Studio Velvet from @calicocorners and I love the luxurious vibe of it. I cut strips of fabric to go on each 1x8 panel of wood then added foam and batting before upholstering each one. So far, it’s really coming together nicely. Stay tuned for Part 2 when I add the sides and start working on the rest of the frame. Would you try this project?
