Sometimes, the packing, prepping and processing can take as long as the printing!! Carefully removing registration tabs so they dont rip the paper, trimming the paper to size, signing and naming the image (twice each on this particular print) printing info sheets, layering and packing, pricing and labeling...all so the final print is ready to find its new home. Don't get me wrong - I find this process rather relaxing! But its time consuming. I reccomend a good film on whilst doing it! #process #packing #hidden #linocut #print

This print marks a turning point for me. It was one of the first works where I truly saw myself as a printmaker, and not just a hobbyist. It resonated with many people and sold out, so I decided to print one more edition. This fierce girl and her little companion are a reminder of the inner strength we often forget we have. Especially when hard decisions need to be made. Signing prints can seem tedious, but I actually enjoy this task. Cutting backing boards and mats… that’s a whole level of boring. Has to be done though. #printmaker #printmaking #printmakersofinstagram

Mid-print emergency? Wrap your brayers in plastic + ink plate in a plastic box to block air and keep ink workable for later. Cleanup postponed. Ink saved. Kids picked up.
