Eggs benedict in under 30 minutes 👌 Want to know the shortcut to amazing hollandaise sauce? It's a tasty trick! 😌Then, show off your skills to your family and make them think you're a genius. Ingredients 4 egg yolks 1/2 tsp dijon mustard 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted To assemble 4 poached eggs 2 english muffins, split in half 8 slices Beechwood smoked Ham (@woolworths_sa sells this its the best ham ever) - In an immersion blender jug add the egg yolks, mustard, lemon juice and salt. Blend till combined. - Make sure the melted butter is hot then gently stream it into the yolk mixture while the immersion blender is on. - The mixture will thicken. Do not overblend. - Taste for seasoning and add more lemon juice if you like it extra lemony. - Pour immediately over your poached eggs. If you need to reheat this, note that its extremely sensitive to heat and might cuddle if you microwave it for long. Eggs Benedict In 5 Minutes. Follow the recipe👇🏻 - Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt - Add the eggs and cook for exactly 5 minutes - When the eggs are done, transfer them to a bowl of cold water - When the eggs are cool to touch, crack one side and fit a spoon in between the shell and the egg - Rotate the egg keeping the spoon in one place until it released the shell - While the eggs cook, combine 3 egg yolks with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice - Slowly whisk in 1 tablespoon of melted butter per egg yolk - Add the bowl of egg and butter to the microwave in increments of 10 seconds until it becomes thick enough to coat the back of a spoon - Season with salt, pepper and smoked paprika - Toast a few slices of English muffins and add some smoked ham on top - Place the 5 minute egg on top of the ham, add some of the hollandaise sauce and garnish with chopped chives - #neverskipeggday
