Terrified. 15 days before I turned 40. nothing has scared me more than feeling like I’m running out of time to have a family. I originally wanted to freeze my eggs when I was in my early 30’s. I just kept thinking I will meet my husband and things will all work out. Well here I am almost 10 years later and it hasn’t. With my anxiety increasing daily to know if I could even have kids, I worked @frame_fertility who set me up with @neil.chappell.ivfmd and @fertilityanswers. The team was incredible They first checked my AMH levels which showed I had a great egg reserve for my age! 3.2!! Praise God SHE’s FERTILE 🙌🏽🙌🏽 so now that I looked eligible to start the egg freezing process my journey began. I want to encourage women to check into this earlier. Not every women is the same. You can be 35 years old and have the egg count of someone who is 25 or you can be 25 years old and already losing your eggs at a high rate. Anddddd we’re crying again! 🥲 Ok despite the crying things have been pretty good - I feel better about my low AMH after talking to so many of you and am so grateful work is covering my egg freezing. But starting a new job while also trying to get my health insurance set up while also trying to find a new fertility clinic (bc I hate RMA remember) while also trying to figure out what exactly they do and don’t cover has been very overwhelming. And dating is also back to being traumatic so there’s that 🥰 like you literally do not even know 🥰 I turn 33 on March 23rd and am trying to not place too much emphasis on that number bc tbh it sounds old 🫠 Hopefully other people can relate ❤️ #thirtiesclub #thirtysomething #lowamh #eggfreezing #datinghorrorstory

funny how that works i’m 32, freezing embryos, and one of the biggest thoughts i’ve had through all of this is that i really wish i’d looked into it sooner. not because i was ready for kids. i wasn’t. but because i think a lot of women aren’t ready and still feel scared to wait too long. i just really wish we talked about that more 🫶 #ivf #eggfreezing #fertilityjourney

At 41, I froze my eggs. I had just come out of a relationship and suddenly felt lost… and scared of missing my chance at motherhood. I kept hearing the same thing: “Your eggs are basically expired after 40.” But I wasn’t ready to give up on becoming a mom. Freezing my eggs felt like giving myself a little more time… a little more hope… and a few more chances on my side. Then life surprised me.
