✨ Trying to boost your AMH before egg freezing? ✨ I went from 1.46 ➡️ 2.64 in just 3 months 🥚💪 Here are the 5 supplements that changed EVERYTHING. What I did to try and improve my egg quality 🥚 I started a lot of these changes around 3 months before my IVF was due to start. There’s no way of knowing if it helped, but my AMH was so low I figured it was worth a try - we really had to go with the approach of quality over quantity. We got 4 eggs, all of which fertilised and all of which made it to day 5. Of those 4, we have 3 strong embryos ❤️ I’m not a doctor so please check with yours first, and remember to just do what’s best for you. You didn’t ask for infertility and there’s no pressure to switch up your lifestyle as a result!! YOU DO YOU 🤍 These were all pretty simple though and weren’t going to do any harm, so like I said… worth a shot ✨ Please do your own research and they’ll be no judgement whatever you choose 🥰 #ivfjourney #icsi #ivf #ivfuk #ttcsisters #BFP #infertilitysupport #infertilityjourney #ttc #ttccommunity

After being told I was in early menopause at 41, I went on to conceive my boys naturally at 43 and 46. One of the many tools I used was targeted supplementation to support: * Egg quality * Mitochondrial health * Thyroid function * Nutrient status * Microbiome balance Supplements are never a magic bullet, but when used strategically, they can make a meaningful difference. While many of us take Omega-3 supplements, we often don’t get the right kind to truly benefit. If there’s one supplement I’d recommend for women, it’s Omega-3. Omega-3 is crucial for hormonal balance, but most of our diets skew the Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio up to 20:1, when it should be closer to 2:1. This imbalance can affect hormonal health significantly Here’s what you need to do: get the right Omega-3 supplement with at least 500 mg of EPA and DHA each. If you can get 800 mg, that’s even better. Here’s why: There are three types of Omega-3: 1. EPA 2. DHA 3. ALA Among these, EPA and DHA are the ones that provide anti-inflammatory benefits ✅ Inhibiting the enzyme aromatase, which converts testosterone to estrogen, thereby reducing estrogen dominance. This can help with symptoms like breast tenderness, hot flashes, and period pain. ✅ Supporting a healthy 500:1 progesterone to estrogen ratio, which is something many women struggle with. I’ll be posting an Omega-3 brand with the correct ratio of EPA and DHA on my broadcast channel at some point today. Post your questions in the comments below, and I’ll be happy to help! ❤️

The key🔑 to conceiving naturally= Improving your Egg Quality! Start doing these to help you improve your egg quality: To keep your blood sugars stable: Include healthy fats (like coconut oil, ghee, coconut chunks, olives, avocado, nuts,& seeds), lean protein (Whole eggs, chicken, lentils, fatty fish, Greek Yogurt), fiber-rich non starchy veggies (leafy greens, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, lady finger, etc), & limited carbs (millets, oats, quinoa, sweet potatoes, white rice, etc) in your meals. Support your Mitochondrial Health: As it’s the only source of energy for your cells & supplementing & including food sources of nutrients like Magnesium (Leafy greens, Dark Chocolate, Avocado, Almonds, etc), CoQ10 (Fatty fish, Pistachios, Sesame seeds, Lentils, etc), Alpha Lipoic acid (Brussel sprouts, Beets, Tomatoes, pea, Potatoes, Yam, etc) will help in improving egg quality. Nourish your eggs with essential vitamins & minerals: Include these nutrients like Vitamin D (Fatty fish, egg yolks, mushrooms), Vitamin B6 (Eggs, poultry, chickpeas, sweet potato), Folic Acid (Leafy greens, beans, citrus fruits), B12 (Eggs, organ meats, salmon), Vitamin C (Citrus fruits, bell peppers, strawberries), Iron (Garden Cress seeds, Organ meats, Leafy greens). Consider supplementation if needed, but always consult your health practitioner first before supplementing. Getting enough & quality sleep is important as it helps in regulating hormone production. Have a fixed sleeping & waking up time. Switch to organic products as much as possible to avoid endocrine disruptors. Save & Share this with someone who needs to know this! CoQ10 is probably the most recommended supplement in the fertility space right now and for good reason… but most women are taking it and stopping there, not realising it is one piece of a much bigger picture. your eggs are the most energy demanding cells in your entire body. they contain more mitochondria than any other cell because they need enormous amounts of energy to fertilise, divide and develop into a healthy embryo. when that energy system is compromised it shows up in the lab as poor fertilisation, poor embryo development or failed cycles. CoQ10 helps but the form matters. ubiquinol is the active form your body can actually use and is significantly better absorbed, especially as you get older. but honestly CoQ10 is just where I start. food first always. oily fish, eggs, liver, avocado, dark leafy greens, nuts and seeds. getting enough calories is non negotiable as undereating is one of the most damaging things you can do to egg quality and one of the most common things I see. other supplements worth knowing about are ubiquinol, resveratrol, alpha lipoic acid, magnesium, NAC, B vitamins, vitamin D and omega 3. I would never recommend just picking from this list and guessing cos what your body needs depends on what is going on underneath the surface. which is where organic acids (OAT) testing comes in. it gives you a picture of mitochondrial function that standard blood panels completely miss. exercise matters too but type is important - moderate consistent movement supports mitochondrial health whereas excessive high intensity training can work against you by elevating cortisol. comment GUIDE for the link to Eat Your Way to Better Fertility my 90 day science backed nutrition plan covering exactly what to eat to support egg quality, hormone balance and implantation, without the overwhelm. #ttccommunity #eggquality #fertilitynutrition #ivfprep ivfcommunity
