This can lead to superspinatus tendinitis. - Upright posture, may not maximize the tension on the lateral delt as it’s not directly aligned with gravity Notes: - You can perform the lateral raise with multiple techniques. However, if the goal is to reduce the risk for injury, you may want to try the technique on the right. - You can also perfrom the exercise with bent (slight flextion of the) elbows. - The dumbbell lateral raise is easy at the bottom and challenging at the top.
