New demo unlocked 🔓 Live at #EmbeddedWorld: we’re showcasing native tap-to-lock / tap-to-unlock with Aliro. Built on our MG24 wireless SoC, this Aliro reference design uses NFC and Matter with hardware-accelerated security to streamline development of Aliro-certifiable smart locks. At Embedded World 2026 we saw two automotive demos from @siliconlabs built on Bluetooth wireless chips. • Tire pressure monitoring with the BG22 Bluetooth SoC • Sensors send pressure data from each tire to the ECU • Designed for high temperature and high speed environments • Strong RX sensitivity and TX power keep the wireless link stable The second demo shows Bluetooth Channel Sounding. • Measures distance between devices with high accuracy • Example: a car door unlocks when you approach and locks when you walk away • Uses signal phase difference or round trip time • Reduces distance errors caused by obstacles and reflections Channel Sounding works with existing Bluetooth chips and Android phones such as Google Pixel and Samsung devices. Interacting with a 3D world generated by a picture or a sentence is now a reality. A company called World Labs just released their first demo, which allows you to generate consistent 3D worlds from a single 2D image 🤯 To me this would be already be a cool Quest / Vision Pro app. Being able to describe a world in detail and then stepping into them to explore. Some artists are already using this tech to fill certain gaps in the creative workflow. For example, an artist named Eric Solorio says it makes it easier to stage characters within scenes and direct precise camera movements. As part of the demo, you can also experience different camera effects, 3D effects, and dive into classic paintings. At #embeddedworld, we showcased how to accelerate Edge Al on Infineon AURIX™ TC4x Al-based trajectory planning runs on Infineon AURIX™ TC4x using virtualization for safe updates. Neural nets execute on the PPU for high-performance control compared to traditional control version on Tricore only. Automatic code generation from Embedded Coder for Tricore and PPU accelerates deployment. Demo shows 50% better accuracy and 5% energy gains for autonomous driving. #ew26
