King Crimson plays Epitaph in ‘69 at Hyde Park. Not enough is said about this band, which is one of my all time favorite bands from this era. I literally purchased a mellotron because of them. As mentioned in a recent post, although the drum playthrough was instrumental, we did a version with vocals, too. & ya'll, lemme tell ya... @johnnygotgrowls fuggin' RULES (as you will hear for yourself 😉🤘🏼). & of course, @kevinheiderich (guitar) & @erlendcaspersen (bass) absolutely rule as WELL! Honestly, no disrespect to the original (I mean c'mon, it's classic death metal)... but Kevin's guitar tone... 🤌🏼🤘🏼🙌🏼. And we're stoked to've had Erlend on this one, too! & last but CERTAINLY not least, @declol ties everything together with the SICK mix 🎶! Hello internet. Here's a video I've been sitting on for awhile: "Diminished To B" by #Necrophagist. I highly suggest watching the whole thing on #YouTube - link in bio I'll be honest: I'm not my usual self right now. I've had one of the worst months of my life, & it's hard to post with enthusiasm. When I feel this low, posting online feels so fake: "Hey, look at me!", but on the inside I'm just somber. So I decided that if I did post right now, I'd just be honest - I think it's important to peel back the veil that is social media from time to time anyway, & just be honest. So here's the truth: I've been a wreck lately, & trying to find my way back to any semblance of normalcy has been remarkably difficult. I've also been reminded in recent weeks that, despite how I feel, I am incredibly loved, by so many incredible people. A number of them have been there for me unconditionally, & those people (+ therapy) have kept me on the right side of sanity. For that, I am truly grateful. Speaking of incredible people - I also need to thank the guys that helped make this video possible: @kevinheiderich, @erlendcaspersen, @declol, & @johnnygotgrowls (⬅️ Yes, Johnny did vox. I uploaded the drum vid instrumental, but there'll be another clip w/ Johnny soon).
