How to fix a broken jeans zipper without taking them apart! I'll be honest, broken zippers annoy the hell out of me and can require so much patience to fix, but this is one of my favourite quick fix methods. It's a great technique to try if you've never fixed a broken zipper before, but please keep in mind the notes below... • This method will make your finished zip a little shorter so if your jeans are already tight remember that you won't be able to open the zip all the way to the bottom. • For a more professional finish, you can remove the zip completely using pliers to remove the bottom zip bar and unpicking the zip from the fly to reattach the zipper, but as these are my jeans I wasn't too bothered!
