If you want a simple mobility flow that actually works, try this. • Bird dogs x10 Build core stability and support your low back. This movement trains spinal control without compressing the spine. • Cat cows x10 Restore flexion and extension in your upper back. Sitting all day flattens this motion and stiffness builds fast. • Plank to down dog x10 Strengthen your core while opening the hamstrings and calves. This loads the tissue while it lengthens, which is more effective than passive stretching alone. • Thread the needle Train thoracic rotation. Rotation is essential for shoulder health and everyday movement and is one of the first things we lose with desk life. • Forward fold + runner’s lunge Open the hamstrings and hip flexors. Long sitting shortens the front of the hips and limits hip extension. Do this regularly and you are not just stretching. You are restoring spinal movement, improving core stability, and reversing the stiffness that comes from a sedentary lifestyle.

Most people think a snapping or clicking hip means the joint is the problem. But often, it’s a soft tissue control issue at the front of the hip. In many cases, the iliopsoas, your primary hip flexor, isn’t guiding the leg smoothly through hip flexion. When coordination is off the femur doesn’t move cleanly, and that’s when snapping, clicking, or catching shows up. This is why stretching alone rarely fixes it. Length without strength and control doesn’t restore smooth movement. The goal isn’t a looser hip flexor. It’s improving how the iliopsoas works during real movement. When strength, and pelvic stability improve, the snapping quiets down and the hip feels more stable.

Stop asking how long until you get your flexion back after ACL surgery‼️ You should be asking what can I do to get my flexion back And the answer is follow a proper plan and stick to it religiously! How quickly you get your flexion back will mainly depend on 2 factors initially What your flexion was like going in to surgery What surgeries have you had - e.g. a meniscus repair with limitation in range of motion for 6 weeks If you didn’t have full flexion, e.g. the ability to sit back on your heels prior to surgery then expect it will take a lot longer to do the same If you could and you have no post op range of motion restrictions then then the timeline will be down to your consistency and application of your flexion exercises I managed to sit back on my heels after 4 weeks (not pain/symptom free) For most people it’s on average between 8-12 weeks when consistently doing their exercises For some it can be much longer if they’re not consistent Getting full flexion back is tough In my opinion its one of the most uncomfortable things to regain but you have to be confident to gradually push to restore it There isnt a fancy exercise to do it beyond the ones shown in this reel As always do the basics well and consistently! Learn how to accelerate from @nojo18 ‼️ Acceleration is all about how much horizontal displacement we can create and how fast we can create it by applying force into the ground in the proper direction and applying it fast. A few things we need to do this: good hip flexion, good hip extension, & stiff ankles. These qualities are a result of a consistent strength training plan that includes heavy lifting, explosive lifting, plyometrics and SPRINTS. There is no substitute for quality sprint work. Everyone wants the easy way to get fast. It doesn’t exist. Work hard, be consistent and then results will come. Incorporating sprint drills into your routine may not directly make you faster but it can put you in the desired positions. #sprintdrills #sprintmechanics #speedtrainers #athletetraining #howtosprint

Explicação 👇🏻 🇺🇲: The neck flexion with a weight plate is an exercise to strengthen the neck, widely used by boxers, martial artists, and F1 drivers, but it requires caution: start with light loads, keep the movement controlled, and avoid it if you have pain or injuries in the area; perform it 1 to 2 times per week for 10 to 15 reps, progressing the load gradually and only with full control. Chin-ups vs Pull-ups ⬇️ Chin-up (supinated grip) • Biceps are a primary contributor • Lats still work hard • Greater elbow flexion = often more comfortable • Useful for building strength toward pull-ups Pull-up (pronated grip) • Less biceps involvement • More emphasis on lats, upper back, and rear delts • Typically more challenging • Effective for building back width and overall pulling strength There isn’t a “better” option — just different tools. Choose based on what you’re working toward, or rotate both through your training. Which one feels harder for you right now?

Lizard isn’t just a hip stretch. It’s deep hip flexion in the front leg. Hip extension in the back leg. Adductors lengthening. Glutes stabilizing. Ankle and foot actively grounding. If you don’t understand what’s happening, you’ll just sink into it. If you do understand it, you can build strength inside it. Inside our Lower Body Resiliency Program, we break down positions like this so you’re not just chasing depth — you’re developing control, stability, and real mobility. Because range without strength isn’t resilience. 💬 Comment READY if you’re ready to train your lower body with clarity. #LowerBodyResiliency #LizardPose #HipMobility #MovementEducation #TrainWithIntention

First time for our guys hitting the Hip Flexor Plank: Ideally looking for a flat back position, with one hip in flexion and the other in extension. Focus should be on driving the bottom knee up into flexion as much as possible like a sprint, while squeezing the top leg into the bench with a fully bent knee. We have some work to do on these form-wise before we inevitably add weight but we’ll keep using them to prep for heavy run or lower body days for the near future. Shoutout to @vernongriffith4 for this set up. Go Gators 🐊 #mobility #football #flexibility #stretching #warmup
