Across the street from this flock camera is Target and you’ll see the nest of cameras there too. That means exit 30 of i5 is more or less completely covered. That is my big take from looking at this all. Look at the map of the de cameras. Kawps put them at choke points and then harass their citizens. Kind of lame if you ask me. It’s like we are rats being watched. When did everyone get so scared? 🤣 #southernoregon #medfordoregon #flock

Criminal or not — Flock cameras don’t care. They track your every move, see inside your car, and store the data. You’re being watched. 🤯 #stlvshiphop #FlockCameras #Govtech

Flock cameras are automated license plate readers that collect data on you beyond your plate. #flockcameras #privacymatters #flockcamera

Flock Safety has deployed more than 80,000 Al-driven cameras across the United States and will launch drones this year to respond in real time to 911 calls and Al-triggered alerts. Its latest $275 million funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Founders Fund co-founded by Palantir’s Peter Thiel among the participating investors. Your every move will now be observed by some kind of AI system. This is not China, this is the U.S. how is this allowed? I believe it is a major privacy concern.

Olympia will fully deactivate its 15 Flock cameras today after concerns they could expose personal data, following similar moves by other Washington cities.

The "eyes" of the city are watching. 👁️🚔 Flock Safety cameras are popping up everywhere. They aren't just standard CCTV—they’re AI-driven scanners that can track your car’s every move across state lines. The Facts: ✅ Solar powered & 24/7 monitoring. ✅ Searchable by vehicle features (not just plates). ✅ Legal because "public roads = no privacy." Are we safer, or is this overreach? 🛡️🤔 #BigBrother #TechTalk #PoliceTech #FlockCameras #Automotive

Should the images captured by 80,000 cameras surveilling Americans 24/7 be available to the public? Flock Safety is an Orwellian mass surveillance program using artificial intelligence automatic license plate readers connected to a nationwide database. Reason’s @BessByers covered it last year, and a lot has changed. #technology #tech #car #cars #ReasonWithUs: Are you worried about Flock cameras? Why or why not?

Anyone can hack the flock cameras : Flock left livestreams and administrator control panels for at least 60 of its AI-enabled Condor cameras around the country exposed to the open internet, where anyone could watch them, download 30 days worth of video archive, and change settings, see log files, and run diagnostics. Unlike many of Flock’s cameras, which are designed to capture license plates as people drive by, Flock’s Condor cameras are pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras designed to record and track people, not vehicles. Condor cameras can be set to automatically zoom in on people’s faces as they walk through a parking lot, down a public street, or play on a playground, or they can be controlled manually, according to marketing material on Flock’s website. We watched Condor cameras zoom in on a woman walking her dog on a bike path in suburban Atlanta; a camera followed a man walking through a Macy’s parking lot in Bakersfield; surveil children swinging on a swingset at a playground; and film high-res video of people sitting at a stoplight in traffic. In one case, we were able to watch a man rollerblade down Brookhaven, Georgia’s Peachtree Creek Greenway bike path. The Flock camera zoomed in on him and tracked him as he rolled past. Minutes later, he showed up on another exposed camera livestream further down the bike path. The camera’s resolution was good enough that we were able to see that, when he stopped beneath one of the cameras, he was watching rollerblading videos on his phone.
