Why patterns are a game-changer ⬇️ If you’re an overthinker like me, learning to dance through patterns instead of individual steps will free up so much space in your mind! When you focus on single moves, you end up thinking too much: “What step comes next? How do I switch?” That overthinking doesn’t let enough room for your groove and musicality to express But when you understand the essence of a pattern, you unlock a whole group of steps that share the same feeling, rhythm, or direction. You’re not choosing move by move anymore, instead your legs start throwing out variations naturally because they all belong to the same “family.” That’s the power of patterns: they free your mind, let your body take over, and turn technique into flow 🕺 The pattern I’m showing here is the Crossing or the X-pattern: all these variations follow that X form, whether you land your feet on the ground or kick them in the air, you’ll find that crossing happening! I’m teaching 2 more Shapes patterns in my “How to freestyle - Cutting Shapes edition” course ! You can find it in the Video Catalog of my website (link in bio) !

Flow Pattern🌊 • Breakdown • Save the video to get back to it in your practice!❤️ ➡️ This floowork sequence is a great way to level up your flow on the ground. It a nice combination of movements on different levels. ➡️ Practice the single steps first until they stored in your brain and muscle memory before you try to combine them in a more flowy way. ➡️ If you study my channel a bit more, you will find movements and patterns which are perfectly to combined with this one. Also I recommend to combine this movement with the ones that you already doing, so you can find the best way to use this movement for yourself. Please let me know in the comments if you have any more questions about this one. 🙏🏼 Much love and a beautiful day☀️ Your Lukas❤️ #groundmovement #lukasrobitschko #practise #contemporary#contemporaryart #dance #modern #playing #explore #dancer #yoga #flow #ground #research #playground #exercise #work #body #mind #fun #move #love #passion #softacro #floorwork #technique #flow #meditation
