FODDER IN THE WOODS Fodder NI is set in the picturesque Finnebrouge woods, a beautiful lakeside location just outside of Downpatrick. Fodder is a cafe, farm shop and deli. You will find a magical tipi where you can grab some fantastic food and to taste their delicious sustainably farmed Dexter beef. You can follow the trail which meanders through the woods and along the lake shore which is just short of a mile long. There are many things to keep the kids motivated on the way from rope swings to balance beams and wild play areas. Grab a clip board and do the colour nature scavenger hunt. Do a spot of shopping in their ‘shap’ find some tasty goodies and some beautiful homeware. Open 9:30- 4pm. (Some evening specials check their socials for updates) Last entry to the trails is 3:30.
