Gather all the hair just below your temples, and secure it with a small hair elastic. 2. Using your index fingers and thumbs, create a clean opening just above your hair elastic, and flip your ponytail up, and pull it all the way through the opening. 4. Gather the hair on both sides above your ears. 5. Begin a classic three strand braid by crossing the right section over the middle, then the left over the new middle. 6. Take a section of hair from behind your ears on the right, add it to the right strand, and cross it over the middle. 7. Take a section from the left, add it into the left strand, and cross it over the middle. 8. Any remaining hair at your neck can now be added to your right, and continue braiding all the way down. 9. Secure with a hair elastic, then loosen the braid to create that soft, romantic look. Tips to French braid your own hair ✨ 1. Don’t take sections that are too small. I like to add about 3 sections on each side of my head for a fuller looking braid� 2. Use one hand to hold and guide the braid while the other separates and adds new sections of hair� 3. When adding the last section at the nape of your neck, look up to keep the braid tight in the neck� 4. French Braid hack!! Can’t French braid? Give this a try! Start with the top section and three strand braid it. Then as you would in a French braid, add in your sections by following the stitches of the three strand braid. Pull the hair through from the bottom of the braid so the strands are coming in from the top. Continue this process until desired length of braid. Pancake for a fuller looking braid!
