De Geranium macrorrhizum is zo’n plant die alles heeft: een lief bloemetje, een heerlijke geur… en vooral: hij groeit zó makkelijk. Wat ik er zo fijn aan vind: hij maakt wortels boven de grond die je heel makkelijk los kunt trekken. Die zet je vervolgens ergens anders weer in de grond, even water erbij… en hij groeit gewoon weer door. Zo kun je in no time grotere stukken van je tuin vullen. En nog een voordeel: hij is ook heel makkelijk onder controle te houden. Wordt hij te groot? Dan trek je gewoon de buitenste rand weg. Perfect om ergens anders te planten… of om weg te geven. Just replant them somewhere else, add some water… and they’ll keep growing. It’s a great way to quickly cover larger areas in your garden. And another plus: it’s very easy to control.
